Edward Witte has over 25 years' experience specializing in group insurance plans, 401(k) plans and personal insurance products. He grew up in southern Indiana and has spent his entire insurance career (and life) in Indiana. He knows very well the Indiana insurance marketplace, and the customers he is fortunate enough to serve.

Edward Witte is a Consultant at Brown & Brown of Indiana. He is a "large group" producer specializing in employers with over 100 employees. His niche and expertise is helping his customers with alternative funding arrangements (partial self-funding, ASO, Third Party Administration/TPA plans, etc.) for their group medical programs. One of his previous agencies owned a TPA; during his 8 years with that agency, he learned all the nook and cranny behind-the-scene details of how TPA plans are implemented and administered, which was very beneficial. He boasts he can input employees into the claims system, shop and bind the reinsurance contracts, and everything in between.

Edward earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Ball State University School of Business in 1985. He minored in Telecommunications. Drawing from his successes with Great-West Life, Alexander & Alexander of Indiana, Insurance & Risk Management, and running his own agency for over 8 years, (Witte Insurance), he is pleased to bring his 25 years' experience to the team and customers of Brown and Brown of Indiana. He is proud to combine his experience with the clout of Indiana's largest agency, (7th largest in the U.S. - Brown & Brown is a publicly traded company with over 110 retail offices in 33 states, and is one of the nation's most respected independent insurance agencies).

Edward gives back to his community by coaching basketball and soccer in the Fishers youth sports leagues. He also coaches CYO basketball. He is a 20 year active member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church/Fishers and served on Parish Council, the Athletics Committee as well as other ministries, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is also an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church/Fishers. He enjoys spending time with his son Grant and daughter Meghan, (boating and watching all their sporting events), and serving his community.
