David W. Paul is a Sales Executive at Brown & Brown of Indiana, one of Indiana's largest multi-line independent insurance agencies. With the acquisition of 7 insurance agencies over the past few years, Brown & Brown of Indiana now boasts over 50 employees and 700 million in annual premium making it the largest independent insurance agency in Central Indiana based on the Indianapolis Business Journal's Book of Lists. Brown & Brown is a publicly traded company ranking in the top 10 of all independent insurance agencies in the country. With over 110 retail offices in 33 states Brown & Brown is one of the nation's most respected independent insurance agencies.

Prior to joining the Brown & Brown team in 2008, David was a Vice President and Junior Partner of Agency Associates Inc. Founded in 1974, Agency Associates grew to be one of the largest multiple line independent insurance agencies in Indiana. With over $103 million in annual premium and over 6500 clients, Agency Associates provided comprehensive insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. Agency Associates secured the endorsements of several major professional associations including the Indiana State Medical Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Golf Course Owners Association. The Brown and Brown team still enjoy these relationships today.

David is the Managing General Agent for the Indiana Golf Course Owners Association’s Insurance Agency. He is also involved with the marketing and sales for the Indiana State Bar Association’s Insurance Agency and the Indiana State Medical Association’s Insurance Agency.

David received his B.A. from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University, where he double majored in Insurance & Financial Planning. After graduating college in the year 2000, he worked for Federated Mutual Insurance Company, specializing in Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefits. During his tenure at Federated, he was recognized as a company leader and earned the company’s highest awards.

David provides comprehensive risk management & insurance solutions for his clients. He accomplishes this by asking the right questions and not wasting time. Learning about his clients goals, objectives, and how they manage their business enables him to provide strategic risk management as well as properly protect the business.

He is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance. David is a member of both the Young Agents Committee (YAC) and the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI).

He and is wife, Jennifer enjoy playing golf & tennis and spending time with their three kids. They are active members of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Noblesville, Indiana and David is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
