Bill Lantrip joined Brown and Brown in January 2008 as Vice President of Employee Benefits. Prior to joining the Brown and Brown team, Bill was the Executive Vice President of sales, and a Partner of Diversified Insurance Brokerage Group, Inc. in Indianapolis Indiana.

Bill began his insurance career in 1990 with Acordia Senior benefits as a Career Sales Representative. After three successful years, and the recognition of being the top selling producer, a move was made to Acordia Personal benefits to gain an even greater understanding of the personal health insurance industry. In 1995 Bill was asked to join Diversified Insurance Brokerage Group as a Partner, and a Sales Representative for individual, and the small employer group health market. During his tenure with Diversified, Bill was recognized as a leader in the small group health insurance market.
