Amber Hensley joined Brown and Brown of Indiana in May of 2011 as a Senior Accountant.

She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2002. In 2009, she completed her Associate's Degree in Insurance services from AICPCU.

She started her insurance career working as a CSR at National Auto Insurance in Anderson, IN while in college. After college, she worked for a manufacturing company, Fabri-Tech, Inc. working in their accounting department. She decided that she wanted to go back into the insurance field and started working in the accounting department at Indiana Farmers in 2005.

She lives in Pendleton, IN with her husband, Eric and two children, Rylan and Emma. They have a dog named Mutley, two cats named Boots and Molly, and a bearded dragon named Draco.

Along with her in-laws, Amber and her husband own a winery in Markelville, IN with a retail store in Pendleton, IN.

In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, crocheting and riding bikes. She also enjoys working out in her vegetable garden and flower garden. She teaches Sunday school for the 2 & 3 year old class at Pendleton Christian Church and is a member of the PTO for Pendleton Elementary.
